The Road North…

I am a long way north of the last post I was able to write about…

And much as happened since then… But finding the time to write and do justice to the people I have met and the places I have visited is proving too difficult for me…

Victoria ro Smithers… So Far, So Good…!!

We are about 2 000 km from the Alaskan border, and have to ride practically every day to make the deadlines we have set for ourselves…

Spending the whole day on the bike and then having to sit and write for four or five hours every night is just not possible any more… If I was able, I would employ somebody to ride with us and write the blogs so that I can enjoy this last part of my journey with my good friends, and not have to bother with the stresses of trying to keep my story up to date…

I just don’t have the energy anymore…

You don’t have the energy to do more, but this will reliever your stress

and that’s the way it goes in the rock n’ roll show of world m/c travel

  • Gas and booze is not cheap in Canada, but the crazy Canadians are a lot of fun to run and drink with, if you can keep up with them. And the scenery is very nice with the long daylight hours.

You worry far too much. Yes, we are a demanding bunch, but so what! Enjoy your ride, sleep whenever you can and we will get the news later. Don’t miss out on anything because you thought you needed time to write. Have fun!!!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: We appreciate the effort, thanks for sharing anything you can!! 🙂 Looking forward to meeting up in August. Sounds like my bike will even be road worthy so I might finally get a chance to hijack the GBWT for a few hundred kms!!! I can offer you a place to stay close to Calgary, with promises of a proper braai as well.

You just keep your eyes on the road and get to Alaska… right now you should be singing – “on the road again”!!!!
We’ll wait in anticipation!!!! It feels like my favorite soapie is coming to an end, but I know the next season will start shortly…
More than that get to Vince’s house in Calgary and have a good old South African braai!!! It’s always good for the spirit!!!
    BIG kisses

  • hi Charmz, nice to be back on the road with Ronnie, he made our local news. Hes slowly coming back into the guy we left behind all those months back in Malyasia. He arrived a bit stressed but trev is great at making sure he dosnt take things too seriously. Today we had such a laugh when he shaved marks hair off but Ill let Ronnie tell you all about that. He has a lot on his mind but is enjoying the riding up here its just beautiful country alone with all the wildlife. Tomorrow and the next will be the toughest riding days as its raining now and we are headed for the farthest point. Its nice for all of us to have company, we can all and do look out for each other.
