All good and ready to Rock & Roll…
We are on our way to Texas…
Crossing the state line into the Lone Star State.
Left New Orleans at midday, and by 8.00 pm tonight had covered 770 km, riding north through Louisiana and into Texas, entering the Lone Star state due east of Dallas, then riding north through beautiful farmland and countryside.
I am currently in the little town of New Boston, a truck stop just off the Interstate 30, and a shortish hop south of the Arkansas and Oklahoma state lines.
Both States will feature in tomorrow’s ride which will end near Little Rock in Arkansas, former home of Bill and Hilary… They’ve invited me around to see what all the fuss with the Big Fella was about…
My first stop will be in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. I want to find out whose bow was broken, and by whom !!
I am in the heart of Tornado Alley, with no excitement to report on that particular front !!

I have 3 680 km to cover over the next five days, in order to get to New Jersey in time for Caley’s wedding… Should be a cracker !! The wedding and the rides…
Oh, and I nearly forgot… The Big Fella had another birthday just outside the little town of Douglassville, Texas… He said to let everyone know…

That’s fantastic news. So happy that you and Big Fella are on the road again. Be safe and watch your speed. You are once again riding against the clock to be in time for Caley’s wedding. Try and take it all in as you go from state to state. Happy Birthday to Big Fella, give him a hug from all of us back home. Tell him we said no more funny business for the rest of your journey. Some news from the home front….President Obama is visiting Cape Town today, as well as Robben Island. He has already seen Zuma but decided not to visit Madiba who is still in a critical condition, 24th day in hospital. Mom and Dad send love and well wishes.
Hey Ronnie, I am riding from west coast to NJ for my cousin’s wedding. How long will you be there. My arrival date is around the 12th. If we cross paths it would be a pleasure to share a beer or a meal.

Hi Evans. I will be riding in New York State, or Connecticut by then, but keep in touch and maybe we can hook up. I have another wedding in Canada, in early August, so slowly making my way north from Jersey after the weekend… R.
