Lol, that woman was definitely calling one of our police stations. Thanks for the update on a few of your travelling buddies. Good to see that you are all still keeping in touch. I thinks its time Willy got back to work too.

enjoy TOT (Time Off Tour)!

and tequila (not too much.... especially $1 shots! Lost a good few hours to those in Baja California a number of years back!)

travel safe

cheers
Tony

ps read this a few days ago.
(Trans-Africa by Motorcycle: A Fathers Diary. Lawrence Bransby)

"My tiredness fell away, the pinpricks of rain were refreshing, the cool wind in my face invigorating.

The motor cyclist, exposed as he is to the elements, feels each change of mood of the world about him. Not obviously to the same extent that a walker or cyclist does, but enough to make it significant.

When the wind blows it jostles you; rain makes you wet; the sun warms or burns you; you feel the temperature variations at the top and bottom of hills, in the shade of the valley or when a cloud obscures the sun.

The earth breathes its smells on you as you pass: the warmth of the tar, wet earth after rain, a dead animal in the bush, smoke from an open fire; diesel too, the smell of cows and cooking food, passing through a gum plantation.

It makes the world somehow three dimensional and one feels more alive"

You're getting so close! Any guesstimation on when you will be driving up PCH through California? Can't wait to see you. Give Patricia a huge hug for me. See you soon! Safe travels.

WOW, what an achievement my BIG brother, we are all so proud of you here back home in good old South Africa. You nearly at that 100 mark! Hurry up now and get your "ass" home. Its been way too long now. Enjoy your time with Patricia and be careful of that liquid called Tequila....it has teeth and can bite you very quickly when you least expect it to.
Take it easy Amigo,
Love and miss you madly,
Dad, Mom and Charmz xxx
