Not for the weak of will, nor the faint-hearted…
It took five hours to do 178 km…
Nearly kissed the front grill of a bus when fatigue spoiled my focus, and I went too wide around a hairpin bend…!!
Off to book some para-gliding for tomorrow morning… The World Championships started here today, and end on Monday… Gotta get my hand in so I can give these guys a bit of competition…
It’s just like parachuting they say… It’s never the actual fall that kills you, it’s the sudden stop…!!
Yeah, yeah…. I’ll download today’s photos a bit later…!!
But be warned, lights out here at 10 pm…!! Have you ever heard of such a thing…!!
Relax Ronnie, I am amazed at how you always keep every-one abreast of your adventures, thank you so much for sharing, I am not sure I would under your circumstrance still update your amazing blog as regularly as you do after spending all those hours in the saddle and surviving the hectic roads which you take in your stride! So thank you and yes I worry and care!
The Para-gliding seems tamer than the road riding. Have fun and we look forward to the photos.
Why don’t you fit Big Fella with a paraglider and enjoy dangerous roads from above ?
Just remember, you can’t take the Big Fella paragliding with you – have an awesome jump and hope for a soft landing!!!!
BIG kisses
K
I think everyone who is following your journey agrees with Trevor, thanks for taking the time to keep us updated everyday, I know how much time and hard work goes into your postings. We are all enjoying your adventure with you. Hmmmm paragliding, this could be interesting…..enjoy.
Love and miss you madly,
Mom, Dad and me
Good idea, but you will have to get me new GPS maps for that…!!
He’s afraid of heights…!! You should have heard him whining on the mountain passes today on the way into Kathmandu….!!
