Many of you will have noticed that I have been a little “quiet” in recent days… While I must apologise for this, there is a reasonable explanation for it all…
It would seem that there are folk out there that have nothing better to do with their free time, but hack into other people’s websites… My site was compromised while I was in Burundi, and this is why (or how) the “Gorilla” posting went walk-about… Some son of a “good father and mother”, has decided that the volume of traffic on my site justifies getting those that log on to it, to be redirected to other sites peddling bits and pieces that only the mentally handicapped would consider buying… Somebody out there gets a few cents every time your computer takes you to one of these “Emporiums of Crap”…
Allan Karl, my guru in California is working on the problem, and I thought it prudent not to upload any blogs for a short while to see if the problem was an intermittent one, or a permanent bug in the system… It seems that only some people are affected by it… In the next week or two, we may have to shut the site down, and reload the entire history again…
To say that we are not amused is the understatement of the century…
The virus is not a malicious one, in the sense that it is going to gobble up stuff on your computer, it is however a royal pain in the backside, and I hope we can sort it out soon…
I will continue to download posts over the next few days, and Allan or I will post a message if and when we decide to shut the site down for a while…
Until then, hopefully you will keep reading and commenting, and join me in wishing that the hacker who fiddled with the Gypsy Biker’s website, has his scrotum infested with the fleas of a thousand camels, and that his fingers turn into fish hooks…

It makes sense now as on two occasions that I have logged into your site in the last week, my antivirus software has closed it down and suggested that I was in danger of accepting a trojan virus.
